About intertitle
intertitle is for people learning a language by watching shows in that language, with subtitles in that language. The problem: at A2 or B1 you follow the story but lose the details. intertitle reads the whole episode's dialogue before you do and, in every pause, tells you in your own language what the next scene is about and which words you are about to need. Then you watch the scene and actually follow it.
Your file
The uploaded file is checked, read into our own data and discarded; the dialogue and the result are kept for 24 hours so you can download them, then deleted. Nothing is shared, listed or searchable. We store no account data in this version, and only a salted hash of your connection for the daily limit.
Legal
intertitle is a tool that processes a file you have the right to use, and gives it back to you with our notes added. It offers no subtitles of its own and no library. If you believe your rights are affected, write to the address below.
