Who is responsible

[Owner name], [Street, postcode, city, country], [contact e-mail] (the operator). This policy follows the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) and the GDPR.

What we process, and for how long

Your subtitle file: it is checked, read into our own data structure and discarded; the dialogue and the resulting file are kept so you can download the result, then deleted: 24 hours without an account, 7 days with a free account, 30 days with Pro. Nothing from the file is shared or made searchable.

The dialogue of your file is sent to Anthropic's Claude API in the United States to write the notes; Anthropic processes it on our behalf under its commercial terms and does not use it to train models. Show titles are looked up on TVmaze and Wikipedia.

Your connection: we store a salted hash of your IP address, not the address, to enforce daily limits; it cannot be turned back into the address. Server logs hold no file content.

Your account: the e-mail address, sign-in times, plan and credits. Sign-in links are sent through Resend; Google sign-in gives us only your verified e-mail address.

Payments: handled by Paddle, which is the merchant of record and processes your payment data under its own policy. We receive the transaction's outcome and a customer id, never card numbers.

Analytics: cookie-free page counts and three events (upload refused, job done, job failed) through a self-hosted Umami instance. No advertising, no cross-site tracking.

Cookies

One cookie, only when you sign in: the session. It holds a random token, nothing else. Settings and the chosen language are kept in your browser's local storage.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to processing; write to [contact e-mail]. Deleting your account removes the e-mail address and everything tied to it; jobs already expired are gone anyway. You can complain to the Swiss FDPIC or your local data protection authority.
